Triptych showcases three women who have devoted their entire adult lives to making art and remain vital and productive well into their seventies: Lana Wilson, a mother and grandmother who became a well-known ceramic artist; Jeanne DuPrau, New York Times bestselling children's author of The City of Ember; and Nan Golub, a painter living in New York City who studied with Richard Diebenkorn and Deborah Remington. Debunks the myth of the older woman as a used-up, useless part of society, offering a colorful visit into the work spaces and minds of older women artists at a time when women and art - and especially older women artists - rarely get serious cultural attention.
